As the first two installments of Five Nights at Freddy's, you will still work as a night guard who has to survive night shifts from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. (a few minutes of real time). Monitor the security camera systems to check the situation outside. Track Springtrap's movements and try your best to keep it out your office.

Get ready for the jump scares!

First of all, you have to get used to the layout of the camera system and monitor everything outside your office. It will be relatively easy to get through the first night at Freddy’s. Take some time to know about each room’s layout.

Only Springtrap can kill you directly, so it is important to keep Springtrap out of your office. If you find Springtrap through the camera, play audio in a nearby room to lure him away. If Springtrap is found in the vents, you have to seal the vents immediately.

If there is something wrong with the systems, you can use the Maintenance panel to reboot them. Rebooting one system needs about 5 seconds and rebooting all together needs 8 seconds. If there is more than one disabled system, the option “reboot all” would be a better choice.
